1. Organiser: Leżajski Klub Kyokushin Karate and Shihan Dariusz Burda, Branch Chief of WKB Poland

2. Partner: World Kyokushin Budokai Poland

3. Date and place: 11-12th of December 2021, Sports Hall ZSL at M. Curie-Skłodowskiej 6 Street in Leżajsk.

4. Participation: In the tournaments all invited teams may submit a chosen number of participants. The Organiser doesn’t indicate a limit. The Organiser doesn’t mandate the rank limit. Preferred time of practice of Karate Kyokushin is 2 years. The tournament will be held in all age categories according to World Kyokuhin Budokai’s rules.

The contestants are required to have:

• Valid physical examination from doctor confirming the ability to train Karate. Lack of such forbids to take part in tournament, especially for underaged contestants in semi contact categories;
• Document with a picture confirming the age of the contestant (full birth date);
• Clean, white gi;
• All personal protectors required for certain categories;
• Written consent to participate according to attached form;
• Underaged participants – written consent according to attached form from a parent or legal guardian to participate in the tournament. Lack of such disqualifies the contestant from SEMI CONTACT categories in the tournament;
• COVID-19 Declaration according to attached form.

5. Registration of the contestants: will be held between October 15th and November 20th 2021.

6. Official hotel: Hotel „Perła”, Hutnicza 2A Street, 37-300 Leżajsk
The official hotel will hold:

• Participants’ registration
• Judge’s seminar
• Meeting of WKB

7. Kumite and kata categories:

MALE AND FEMALE KUMITE

KUMITE JUNIORS

(age on December 10th 2021)

Duration of fights Juniors 8-11 years old
90 sec. >90 sec. >Weight (3 kg) >90 sec.

Duration of fights Juniors 12-17 years old
120 sec. >120 sec. >Weight (3 kg) >120 sec.

The duty of the competitor is showing up for the fight in regulated 1 minute time in full equipment.

If age or weight of the contestant is different from the one in application, there are two options:
1) disqualification;
2) penalty payment (starting fee) and transfer to appropriate one;
3) if certain weight category contains less than 8 contestants, the category will be cancelled or the contestants will be transferred to another one.
The duty of the competitor is showing up for the fight in regulated 1 minute time in full equipment.

All participants entering European Championships must have valid mishap insurance. The Organiser doesn’t provide insurance and won’t be held responsible in that matter.

KATA

KATA: +18 years old (age on December 10th 2021)
KATA: Juniors (age on December 10th 2021)

RULES OF PERFORMING KATA
Kata will be held in categories dividing age for men and women in three rounds:
I round measured with points, fighters perform kata from the chart,
II round measured with points, fighters perform kata chosen from the chart,
III round- final judged by flags, fighter performs kata from the chart, different from performed in II round.

8. Awards:
For 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in all kumite categories the contestants will receive a cup, medal and diploma. There will be fights for 3rd place. If in a category will be less than 8 fighters, the category may be cancelled or combined. For 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in all kata categories the contestants will receive a cup, medal and diploma.

9. Applications
Contestants’ applications are due at November 20th through website: https://karateonline.pl/4ewkkc
After analysis of the applications there may come up the need of shaping categories in a different way. In the applications, please submit rank, weight and accomplishments of the contestants.

10. December 10th 2021:
Registration and verification of contestants along with seminar for judges and WKB meeting will be held in Hotel „Perła”, Hutnicza 2A Street, 37-300 Leżajsk
10:00 do 19:00 – Registration and verification of contestants
16:00 do 18:00 – judges’ seminar
19:00 do 20:00 – WKB meeting
Participants must bring to verification:

• identity document;
• parental agreement (for underage);
• consent to compete;
• valid physical examination from sports’ doctor;
• insurance;
• COVID-19 declaration;
• personal Gi( top part).

11. December 11th 2021:
08:20 - 09:00 Conference of the judges
09:20 - 10:00 Opening Ceremony of European Championship
10:00- 12:30 Kata
12:30 - 19:30 Kumite
15:00 - 17:00 Distribution of meals
19:30 – 21:00 Decoration and ending of the tournament (time depends on number of contestants)

12. December 12th 2021:
08:20 - 09:00 Conference of the judges
10:00 - 12:30 kata
12:30 - 19:30 kumite
15:00 - 17:00 Distribution of meals
19:30 - 21:00 Decoration and ending of the tournament (time depends on number of contestants)

13. Maintenance during the tournament
The Organiser will provide a meal for judges and competitors.

14. Insurance
According to new bill on Sport’s all teams of the contestants are responsible for insuring their representations.
The Organiser ensures medical help during the tournament.

15. Final provisions
In cases not included in statute the final say comes to the Organiser.

16. Additional information
The Organiser has a right to change number of categories after the verification and on the day of tournament. The Organiser won’t be held responsible for lost goods. For fighter’s behavior and damage caused by them, the parent or legal guardian will be held responsible. Entrance is free and open to the public.
